Another big turnout to the Euro Cars at Night in Kelowna.
A good showing of Porsches were there. Thank you Matt for bringing a Lamborghini Huracan Performante for us to drool over!

Day 1 – Met in Vernon, took the Needles Ferry toward Nakusp. Epic roads as we enjoyed the twistys with just a bit of rain before Nelson. Great to meet up with some of our Kootenay BCIR members.
Day 2 – Took the Balfour Ferry to Crawford Bay and visited the North Woven Broom where they made all of the brooms for the Harry Potter films. Continued on to Creston and had lunch at the beautiful Skimmerhorn Winery. After lunch we returned to Nelson via the Salmo Creston highway and had to wait for a moose to cross the highway. Dinner was at the scrumptious All Season Cafe.
Day 3 – Coffee to start the day at the Oso Negro Coffee House then some members split off for the return trip home via Rossland. Stopped for lunch in Grand Forks at Board Room Cafe where we were hosted by one of our members to some fabulous food.
Thank you to everyone that made this a wonderful getaway weekend!

Despite the cool temperature, we still had a good turnout at City Park in Kelowna.
We sold some raffle tickets for a chance to drive in the August Dream Rally.
All money raised goes to our charity The Foundry Kelowna. If you are interested in buying a ticket, send an email to: president@bcir-pca.org

Some BCIR members attended the 9th Annual Black Rock Resort weekend hosted by the Vancouver Island Region. We were excited to have Mark Prusynski, the new Zone 6 Rep from Boise Idaho, join in on the weekend after hearing such great things about the event.
A bunch of cars met in Nanaimo and drove together along the twisty roads to Ucluelet. Weekend events included a show and shine on the downtown dock, autocross, breakfast and dinner with fireworks provided by the Volunteer Fire Brigade, scotch tasting, poker run, parade through town and wind up banquet.
Through auctions and donations, the Porsche group raised a whopping $22,000 for Cops for Cancer “Tour de Rock” and more for the local Volunteer Fire Brigade.
