BCIR had another fun movie night… this time at Kitsch Winery in Kelowna!
The venue was beautiful and our members were treated to a private screening of Le Mans starring Steve McQueen under the stars.

What a blast! BCIR’s 1st Drive-In Movie Night at the Starlight in Enderby!
Members came from West Kelowna, Lake Country and Coldstream to watch the latest Transformers Movie under the stars. One of the main characters was a classic 911 Carrera RS 3.8. Watch for more movie nights coming up…

CSN Father’s Day Car Show (formerly Boyd) was held today at City Park in Kelowna. There were 20 BCIR vehicles in attendance to delight the spectators.
Despite the rain spurts and cool temperatures, the crowd was able to get close up to a variety of Porsches such as a 914, 968, Macan Turbo, Cayman and Boxster Spyder.

As part of Porsche Centre Kelowna’s Festival of Dreams, they also put on a Driving Adventure. Members drove to Predator Ridge in Vernon to pick up a swag bag.
Members are entered for a chance to win a Luxury Lifestyle Weekend – 2 nights at Sparkling Hill and 2 Green Fees at Predator Ridge Golf Resort to be drawn this week. Good luck! Again thank you to Porsche Centre Kelowna.

Another exciting event this weekend was celebrating Porsche’s 75th Anniversary at Porsche Centre Kelowna. BCIR members were treated to a BBQ lunch, music and swag bags all part of their Festival of Dreams. Thank you to Robert and the staff at PCK.

Afterward was a drive to Kamloops to meet with some BCIR members there. The Porsches gathered at Riverside Park and then headed to Mason’s Kitchen & Bar at Bighorn Golf Course in SunRivers for a tasty lunch.
The skies briefly opened up with a rainstorm, thunder and lightning but it didn’t damper the fun.

Kelowna Flightcraft welcomed BCIR for a 75th Anniversary of the Porsche brand. One of the largest events BCIR has ever hosted with over 75 Porsches in attendance ranging from 356s to the newest 992s.
There were door prizes, food and great photo opps with the airplanes such as the WW2 de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito fighter bomber.
