BC Interior Region - Scenic Drive to Big White & Breakfast at the Bullwheel
Get ready for a morning of crisp mountain air, winding switchbacks, and Porsche camaraderie. We are heading up to Big White Ski Resort for a social breakfast and some high-altitude scenery.
Event Schedule & Meeting Point
Directions to Start: Proceed to the top of KLO Road. After the stop sign, continue straight where the road veers right toward McCullough (near the store/community hall). The entrance to the Ball Diamond will be on your right.
Special Guest: We’ll be greeted at the start by Big White’s own Loose Moose for a quick photo op before we roll out!
The Route
Our drive is designed to emphasize handling and scenery over raw speed. Please remember the "Golden Rule" of group drives: Keep the car behind you in your sight until we reach Highway 33, and adjust your pace accordingly.

The Descent: Turn right out of the parking lot. Follow East Kelowna Road down the switchbacks to Hollywood Road.

The Orchard Run: Bear right at the top of the hill. At the next junction, stay right toward the Belgo Wedding Chapel and the old House of Rose Winery.

The Backroads: Turn left and navigate the quiet stretches of Garner and Kloppenburg (right turn), then Loseth Road (left turn at the stop sign).

Regroup: We will briefly regroup on Loseth Road just before the turn onto Highway 33.

The Ascent: Follow Highway 33 to the Big White turn-off. Enjoy the twists, turns, and hairpins of Big White Road as we climb to the Village.

Arrival: We’ll head to the Village Centre Mall (VCM). Look for the clock tower on the right; parking is expected to be just up to the right after turning into the VCM area.
Breakfast & Activities
We will gather at The Bullwheel for an à la carte breakfast. Following the meal and a few door prize giveaways, the mountain is yours to explore!

Hiking: Explore the various marked alpine trails.

Scenic Chairlift: Take a ride to the top (we typically receive "2-for-1" passes for participants).

The Return: For those heading back down Highway 33, we recommend a pit stop at the Hillcrest Farm Market (at the junction of Springfield Road) for local treats.
Road Conditions & Driving Notes

Caution: The initial leg to Highway 33 is short and scenic. Please watch closely for walkers and cyclists.

Speed Limits: Highway 33 begins at 60 km/h before opening up to 100 km/h. Big White Road is primarily 80 km/h.

Pre-Drive Check: The route will be "Porsche tested" shortly before the event to confirm road quality and identify any construction.
