HARTSON'S SUNRISE RUN TO STUMP LAKE
It’s a dash for an early morning “der sonnenaufgang”
and back to the house before the kids wake up!
With family life, job commitments and a lawn to resuscitate,
the Sunrise Run gets you out and back before the day
actually begins. Food? Nope… no time. Coffee? Sure, if you
bring your own. This micro-event is less about the social and
more about internal combustion, frequent gear changes and
a little scenery along the way.

Hartson’s Sunrise Run is a 90 minute round trip that
departs the Kamloops Cityview Starbucks at 5:15am sharp,
heading onto the nearby (and gorgeous) highway 5A,
passing Separation Lake, Shumway Lake, Trapp Lake, Napier
Lake, Tullee Lake, onto the Old Kamloops Road to Stump
Lake Park for a sip and a handshake before backtracking to
the Bureau of Primary Responsibility.
You’ll be happy the alarm went off for this one!
